Can't sort Slicer in order of Month

Hi, I have an assignment with a small set of example data in CSV format. I have to build a dashboard for it. Everything works fine except the slicer. In the assignment, it says I have to include a way to only show specific months or quarters. I'm able to add a functional slicer, but I can only sort it alphabetically, not in chronological order. How can I fix this?Dashboard_excelforum.xlsx

Possible solution, change name date for date (1/1/2024).
