Custom Sort Slicer By Calendar Order

I have a slicer that I would like to sort in calendar order but after some research I am not sure if it will be possible considering the original data I am working with. I have approx. 2500 rows of data in my powerpivot and one column contains months(Jan, Feb, Mar....etc) as well as containing blanks and a value named 'Other' so I can't change this column to a date format. Is it at all possible to custom sort this column to use for a slicer? Was hoping to achieve the following on my slicer 1-JAN 2-FEB 3-MAR......12-DEC 13-OTHER then BLANK on final slicer button. If anybody could point me in the right direction that would be great or let me that is isn't possible so I can look for an alternative that would be great.
