Cool How do I set/read the scroll position of a chart

    Hi,

I am trying to find the scroll position of a chart, the chart being a chart sheet, not an embedded chart in a worksheet.

I want this because I am trying to build some code that will read the position of the mouse in pixels and then convert it to the coresponding position on the xy plot axes of a scatter chart. So in effect I can turn an excel plot into a drawing canvas. I do have a need for this other than playing

In order to do this i need to know several things, e.g. x and y scale, plot area position and so on... But the one I can't figure out is the scroll position of the chart.

If on a worksheet for example I record a macro and scroll the page the scroll event is recorded in the VBA editor. But when I do the same on a chart sheet the scroll event is not recorded.

    Help would be much appreciated

    Alex

I can not see that these properties are available in the OM.

You might have to force the size of the chart by the zoom

    Thanks Andy

Although dissapointing news to hear I cant read or write the scroll position. I have turned "SizeWithWindow" to true for now, so there are no scroll bars
