    linking maximum and minimum y axis values to a cell value

    how can i link the maximum and minimum y axis values to a cell value (without using vba) ?

    thanks for your ideas!

    the idea is that whenever the data values of the chart are changed, then the max/min y-values would be calc'd by a formula of mine (rather than the inbuilt method excel uses)

    No can do. Only possible with VBA. Here is one suggestion:
