    Chart axis has numbers but data range is names

    I have created a chart but for some reason rather than the names appearing there are numbers. I did the chart successfully and then removed the data so that I could input another team's results and this happened. Can anyone help please?

    Your chart is XY scatter therefore both axes are value not category.

    Thank you Izandol - you are quite correct. Have amended the straight values to lines and bingo I have my names!
