shorten long if statement and add conditional formatting

long time viewer but this is my first post i really need help with this

    IF(AND(B44=18,G3=52),Z52,IF(AND(B9=43,G13=24),Z58,IF(AND(B11=42,G3=24),Z124,IF(AND(B20=45,G31=60),Z191,IF(AND(B50=17,G3=42),Z147,IF(AND(B11=7,G3=6),Z125,IF(AND(B31=18,G3=24),Z60,IF(AND(B21=28,G3=78),Z176,IF(AND(B51=48,G9=28),Z161,IF(AND(B42=48,G3=79),Z199,IF(AND(B9=13,G3=78),Z89,IF(AND(B26=34,G21=79),Z195,IF(AND(B44=7,G3=4),Z149,IF(AND(B40=37,G3=27),Z102,IF(AND(B42=34,G7=75),Z169,IF(AND(B9=18,G3=51),Z107,IF(AND(B36=13,G3=81),Z97,IF(AND(B36=28,G3=6),Z140,IF(AND(B5=36,G3=59),Z157,
    IF(AND(B35=37,G43=48),Z198,63))))))))))))))))))))
i want to be able to fill this down so each value steps by 13
    so b44 =b57 g3=g16 and so on
it would be helpful if the sheet name could be added to the front of each cell every 15th row
so eg rows 1-14 would be for example sheet "planning outlook 2014 q1
    then 15 to 28 planning outlook 2014 q2
,i believe concatenate or is it indirect? will do this
i have a list of sheet names in another workbook would it help if they were in the same workbook?
if this formula could be simplified that would help
    secondly
this workbook will be shared by 25 users on a server will that be a problem?
    thirdly
i would like to color any row where the value of the corresponing z value is within 12.5 % of the g value and plus or minus 2% of the b value green
if the b value is over 18% of the z value amber
in the g value is less than 16% of the g value red

i need this done asap as my boss wants this working by tomorrow
no vba as i dont understand it
thanks in advance for your help

    Re: help

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

Re: shorten long if statement and add conditional formatting

    You're obviously new to forums...
    1. Obviously you gotta follow rules. I'll admit this forum's on the strict side, probably because they get so annoyed at so incredibly many people with really poor thread titles asking to have a week's work done overnight.
    2. It also helps if you put it in the right section (formulas and functions).
    3. Bumping is for active forums that move your post to the next page because it's so busy. not for pestering like a 3 year old every 5 minutes going "are we there yet? are we there yet? are we there yet?"
    4. what you ask isn't a small 5 minute job for us to pull out of our butts...for free. Plus it's a project for YOU to do for YOUR boss in HIS insane timetable.
    5. rules/suggestions also say include a sample/example sheet for best results. That way it's a lot easier to see what you have/want.

As for how to improve it:
-maybe make a table and use an index(match(),match()) lookup rather than the gargantuan if().

I'd suggest starting reading up on tutorials on VBA if you're going to continue working with stuff like this.
