    Using Get Pivot Data

    Hi All,

I am aware there is a function to retrieve data from a pivot table but I need some help on how to use it.

On the attached sheet in 'Production Requirements' I would like a formula in F16 that looks at the number in E16, finds it in the pivot table and returns where it's Out. Not sure how to do it though.

    Any suggestions?

    Re: Using Get Pivot Data

Additional to this, I have tried - =GETPIVOTDATA("Tools from Count",pivot!$A$2,"In/Out",E20) in cell F20 of the 'Production Requirements' sheet but I'm getting an error.
