I need the formula to be written in cell C25 on sheet1
What I need is to lookup the value in cell B6 (on sheet 1) in columns D and E in sheet 2 and return the sum of values in column P where the criteria is met either column
Is anyone able to help?

Are you sure you attached the correct file?
There doesn't appear to be any values in any cells on any of the tabs. You can COUNT text cells, but not SUM them.

There are values in column P on sheet 2.

This one is really simple but you could make it more complicated if you like. Copy and paste into cell C25 (or wherever you want)
=SUMIFS(Sheet2!$P:$P,Sheet2!$D:$D,$B$6)+SUMIFS(Sheet2!$P:$P,Sheet2!$E:$E,$B$6)
