Copying data to another sheet based upon YES/NO drop-down selection

Hi all,

I have been hunting for this solution on the internet and you guys seem like the pros so I thought I would post it here.

My example is this, I have a workbook consisting of 5 sheets.

Sheet 1 is the master sheet, and (among many other columns) it has a series of yes/no columns. The yes/no options are the equivalent of:

"Are you in sheet 2?"
"Are you in sheet 3?"

etc.

When this is the Yes option, I would like the rest of the contents of the row to copy into sheet 2.

These need to remain linked, so if I change stuff in Sheet 1 I would like it to change everywhere.

Is this possible...?

I could not infer much from the above description about your requirement.. Could you post a workbook with sample data with what you are trying to achieve?

Basically, depending on what you put on YES/NO on the Master sheet determines which other sheets it gets copied to.

If you are trying to collate data from other sheets to the master sheet, I can give u a macro-coded solution, which you can use.

From the sample workbook, I could infer that you want to collate data from these columns : Name, Detail, Comments and Notes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No its the other way around!

I will edit the master sheet and if it belongs in Sheet 1 it will auto-populate and make changes.
