Hi. (I'm new to this forum--hi everyone!)
Is there a function or some other programming device in Excel that will enable me to do the following?
- When I enter a pre-designated text into a cell (for example, I type "Large Print" into cell C3), Excel will automatically populate another designated cell with a number I have predesignated (for example, "$350" would automatically appear in cell D4)

Sure. You could use a table to lookup the value entered and display the appropriate value.
=VLOOKUP(cell to lookup,range to look it up in,column to return,0 for exact match)
