Search one cell by multiple criteria to return corresponding multiple text

Hi,

I have a column DATA containing one-letter abbreviations for fruits. I'd like to search each cell in DATA for abbreviations, and return the long-hand text for each (sometimes multiple) fruit into column AIM. See DATA and AIM pasted below, or attached file.

I've been trying this...
=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("a",A2)),"apple ",IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("c",A2)),"cherry",""))
...but it only returns the first abbreviation - please could someone suggest how to adapt this to return multiple results?
