Formula to put differnt contries for their specific regions, ATTCD countries with region

HI ALL,

I am looking for formula to put region for the countries example in file attached. There two tab one tab with example have region for countries and other TAB need to update region in Column "F".

57 unique countries & have duplicates 2791 out of 2848

THANKS for reply, I am looking for formula without looking at base sheet with countries & region, at the moment i have the countries sheet but future incase its not available.

Appreciate if it doesnt look into example sheet but formula own its own to find region

appreciate your passions,

the data is there to give example, i was doing one formula before which is =IF(K3="FINLAND","Other Western Europe",IF(K3="ANGOLA","Africa",IF(K3="ARGENTINA","Argentina",IF(K3="AUSTRALIA","Australia","other")))) but thought check with experts to find easy way to do it.

if that helps you to think the above formula without looking into to other supporting data or doc
