That's a very good way of doing data-dependent dropdowns. Very impressed. Hadn't seen this before...
Umm. Having fiddled with this a bit, I'm not so sure that the answer provided in "Book2_dropdownlist" is what I would have wanted. If Cell B2, in the Data Validation sheet,in THE VERSION ATTACHED HERE(with two entries for "Political") is OK - then ignore me. However, what I think you really want is in my attached sheet (Data Dependent drop-down boxes). It takes a bit of time (and a gallon-and-a-half of patience) to set this up, but it works perfectly.
If that is your problem solved, can you mark the thread as solved and (preferably) say thanks to all who helped by clicking the add reputation button at the foot of the post(s).
