Inserting row : not all values are changed one stay the same??

Hello everybody, i'm needing your help here as I've got a problem which I don't understand and I'm not able to solve myself.

I've got rows with complicated formulas and if functions like (on row 82):

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

No problem with the formula itself but when i insert a line before it, references change as i want to except one! The reference on the previous line.
See it here (now formula is located on row 83 after inserting):

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

It should be $N82 here no?

Why the value in red is not changing? I don't know... If you know a tip to force it to change i'll be so pleased :p

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I think your cursor must be positioned on the same row as the formula when you insert the row. Position the cursor on the row above and insert the row.

    Thanks for response.

Yes it is, but there is this formula on more than a hundred rows. So i need to insert it precisly on this row. Is there another way? I would like not to use vba to solve this but if there is no other way...

Maybe an offset formula could do the job? First time i'm trying to use it. Hard to put in this complicated formula ^^

    Hi,

Try an offset. Perhaps something like

    IF(Offset($N79,2,0)=2...etc

Yes!! I solved the problem by using OFFSET($N79,(-1),0) Instead of the $N98 reference.

Thanks for help and your rapid response!
