I am new at this, and I'm sure this is a simpe task, but I don't know the correct wording in order to search from help.
I have a table with 4 columns. The first column is a class code (001-402), the second column is is the description of that class code (tree, roof, etc), the third column is the rate associated with that column (39.57,14.22, etc). The fourth column is a minimum premium.
I am trying to set up a spread sheet that when someone types in the class code (001-402) it will then prefill the rest of the information for me in other cells.
Class Code.................Description...... Prem Basis..............Rate Per 100.............Est. Ann
005..........................tree..............(user entered)............35.77.................(Simple Formula)
There has to be a better way than 402 IF formulas.
