Aggregate exact date

Hello,

How can I parse a date (01/01/2001) in A1 to a mm/yy (01/2001) in A2. is there a formula?

Alternatively you can also use..
custom formatting..
right click on cell and click format cell and click custom ...
write mm/yyy there..

click ok...
Now you can use format painter to format other cells as well..
