SUMIFs and VLOOKUPs

Hi All,
I have a huge spreadsheet with multiple tabs and need to be able to sum up several different items with multiple criteria.

Sheet One has the Product and its status example is in the attached pic, it has many more rows than this for each project:

I need to be able to total up each line of project by it's status in a summary file

I have tried different combinations of VLOOKUPs with SUMIFs and none seem to work

Any ideas ?

Tried that but once the data is summarised I have to add other rows and calculations to the summarised view. It needs to done by a formula... and not all status's need to be reported on

I solved it - I was over thinking it to much I used SUMIFS.
