Cross Referencing Text

I am looking to check Column A against Column B - can anyone help me with the formula that I should use? I was thinking VLOOKUP but I can't get it to click....

In what way are you trying to Check Column A against Column B?
What would you like to return and where?

Column A is the list of all DIII schools with lacrosse while Column B are all the schools (with or without lacrosse) that fit for ac retain player. I want to narrow the lists down by cross referencing and creating a list of colleges that fit a certain player that also have lacrosse.... I want to see which schools in column A are also in Column B either by highlighting or creating a list in Column C.
