Beginner needs help with formula to multiply only when cell contains a positive value

I'm a beginner and am having a hard time with a formula.

I have values in column A that are both positive and negative. If the values in column A are positive, I'd like to multiply them by .25, and enter that value in column B; if the values in column A are negative, I'd like for 0 to be entered in column B.

I'd really appreciate any help you can give!

    Try this in B2 =MAX(A2*0.25,0)
