returning time in one cell based on number in another cell

    Hi All,

I'm trying to work out when the temperature drops on a fridge, I've got two rows: one with time and another with temperature.

I want to know at what time the fridge left certain limits (for example recording a temperature less than 2 degrees C) and then what time it came back into limits (for example recording a temperature greater than 2 after the first time in went out).

I understand this probably isn't just one formula and I guess will get quite involved but if anyone could point me in right direction that would be great as I'm pretty stuck at the mo.

Also ideally I'd like to know when the first time 3 temperatures in a row were outside the limits and when the first time 3 temperatures in a row came back into limits so i can tell the difference between someone opening the door of the fridge and just minor blips - but that's just a nice to have feature.

    Cheers, Steve

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    sample.xls

Thanks. I've manually added my desired result to the bottom of the data.

    Cheers, Steve
