RAG Status & Directional Arrow

Hi There,

Can any one help me with the solution for the following problem, please?

Problem -
RAG status is in cell A1 along with the directional arrow.

Let say initial status is green (colored /fill = green) with the directional arrow pointing horizontal. If I change the status to Amber (color / fill = Amber) the directional arrow should automatically point downwards. Similarly if change the color of the cell from Amber to Green arrow should change the direction to upwards

Possible combination of the cell color change and directional arrow

Current State Next State Arrow Direction
Green Green horizontal
Green Red Down
Green Amber Down
Amber Green Up
Amber Amber Horizontal
Amber Red Down
................................ and so on for other combination of RAG color

Please help me with the formula or possible tips on the solution.
