Problem statement: column of data in one sheet (sample) and master data (population) in another sheet. Aim to validate if the sample data exists in the population data by using Vlookup.

Current result: is returning all one result, that is [USD].
this is incorrect as upon spot checking there are clearly other currencies. In passing this is only a sample of data, actually there are about 1000 samples needed to be checked.
please advise.

I only see 1 attachment and it's a CSV file, so where's the sheet with the VLOOKUP in?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
One of the reason may be that you have freezed the Lookup_value in the first cell by adding the Dollar($) signs and have dragged down.
