Unhappy Vlookup or Index Match Function?

    Hello,
I couldn't exact hours, if i select same project number twice and put hours in front of it.

I have used Vlookup function, but shows inappropriate result if data duplicated. I am preparing employee time sheet for whole year.

I have attached sample sheet of it
    Attached Files Attached Files

I would also consider the Indirect formula...

Time saver... though you will need to rename the headers in row 3 like D3 needs to become User-1 instead of User1 (Should match the tab name)

    Cheers -
