Extract a formula from a table to calculate another cell

Hi!
I'm working on a problem which involves a table consisting of formulas

Untitled.jpg

The tables A and B on the right contain formulas that take reference from the cell directly to the left of it.
When their extracted to column E (Extract), the formula should then take reference from Column D (Length) and calculate out the answer
Is this possible?

Attaches is a NONE working copy

Thanks for any replies and ideas

You have those cells formatted as TEXT. Format them as General or Number, then F2-Enter through those cells and they will calc properly
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Extract a formula from a table to calculate another cell

Thank you for the replies!

The changes nflsales did to the formula only work if the LENGTH is 1
It will not work if the length is 2 or more.
Also the table will be extended to include more length and the formulas are not fixed.
They will be changed in the future

Example 1
Chart B
Width 4
Length 2
The answer should be 7 ---- 2(Length) - 9

Example 2
Chart A
Width 3
Length 2
The answer should be 4.4 ---- 2(Length)/5+4

Example 3
Chart B
Width 1
Length 1
The answer would be 3.5 ---- 1 + (5/2)

hope these example help to explain what I'm trying to get
Not sure how to describe my problem
