Hi, I'm trying to use a formula to number date periods of 2 weeks from a given start date. So for example the first period would be 30/12/15 to 12/01/15 and the second period would be 13/01/15 to 26/01/15.

If you have 30/12/2015 in Cell "A1" then
B1=A1+13
A2=A1+14
B2=A2+13
Select A2:B2 and copy towards down

I have a list of dates in column A that are sequential but not uniform. There may be multiple or no entries for a a certain date. B1 needs to reflect the number of the period from a given date e.g. 1 and from that point and then number every further 2 weeks eg 2 for the next period.
