Games Back Formula

Hello All,
I am trying to make something that auto calculates the standings from game results. From what I have found online I have been able to do. The problem is I can't figure out how to do a formula for getting the games back (GB). What I have been able to find is a formula for just wins and loses but that doesn't necessarily work here because I have ties as well. Below is the table and I have manually entered what the games back should be. As you can see, the teams aren't going to be in order.

I have found formulas using MAX but I am not sure how to use that.

The formula for games back is GB == ((difference in wins) + (difference in losses)) / 2
Ties are supposed to count as 1/2 win, 1/2 loss.
