    please help me out to make a calculation for this excel calculation. anyboday have idea ?

    I dont want total to be in the discount cell and again calculate the total. i need directly the total to be in total cell . u have put a discount and calculated again. please give me the result as it is in my dable. and without involving the A column . bcos i will marge the A column . i think you getting my point . if not let me know i will explain it in a different way

    NO I think you made a mistake my total amount should come 23 . but it is 23.5. it is not redusing the discount amount . please have a look in your excel file. calculation should come like this.

    (unit price * quantity)- discount = total
    (1 * 15.5) - 5 = total

    please correct me again.

    Just change the formula of total to
    =SUM(L4:M20)-L21

    (15.5+8)-5 should come 18.5. acording to your calculation total is 23.5. you getting my point ?

    15.5+8 = 23.5
    23.5 - 5 = 18.5
    total = 18.5
