Function values that change with filtering

I have a large spreadsheet that tracks approximately 5 columns with different variables, each of which I regularly need to filter.

I also have an 'overview' whereby the main sheet is tracked showing total inputs, dates, frequency of variables etc using basic COUNTIF functions.

What I need is for the overview to reflect what I'm filtering. IE; if I filter for only results from last week the overview should only give me the totals for the past week.

Can this be done? Thank you in advance!

You can probably use

to sum the range.

both will reflect filtered rows; 109 will reflect manually hidden rows.

Or you could maybe use a Pivot Table and do your filtering in the Pivot Table.
