Question Date Tracker in Excel ?

    Hi Guyz

I have created a tracking sheet for the worker. However, this table is perfect to prompt us if staff is delay in completing his/her job.

Then, my bosses just give me a thought of prompter upfront. E.g highlight in Red colour in the event any “Date“ is delay by 2 days or above.(sample in column J).

Is there any way conditional formatting can do to identify this date have been delay more than 2 days ? (thus highlight in colour). And colour will disappear once “column L” is complete.

Sample of my file as below.

Hope you can share with me your experience. Thanks

    try this. Sample Colour Tracker.xlsx
although, in the reporting perspective, it seems the 2 things you want to do conflict with each other.

Maybe look at, you wanting to see if the work is done in two days only than clearing the formatting even though the work done may be >2days... just a thought

    I Can't open your sample ??

I thought is like formula, "if". meaning we can have moren than 2 criteria. If Column "Date" is not update the colour is "RED" after 2 days. But if "column L" is update the colour disappear... just my thought

Try Highlighting L and then adding a new Conditional Format rule -

Choose "Use a Formula to Determine which cells to format"

Then put this formula in the field titled, "Format values where this formula is true:"

Then set the format to whatever color style you wish

    Cheers
