Summig Time Values that exceed 24 Hours

Hi All,

I have a problem displaying the correct summation of time values whose sum exceeds 24 hours.

I have 3 cells, A1 - A3 that contain the time values 08:10:00, 08:20:00 and 08:15:00 respectively. In A4 I've summed the three time values but only get the result 00:00:45 which is the sum of the minutes from all three values. If I reduce one time value form 8 to 7, the correct summation is displayed (23:45:00).

I'm guessing this is a format issue and I've tried various time and custom formats but to know avail. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please?

hi kyjae. try formatting the cells to custom:
[h]:mm:ss
