    Fixing Format for Telephone Numbers

    I know how to fix a cell to format for a telephone number. However, the spreadsheet on which I'm working has no format for the column so some phone numbers are entered as (nnn) nnn-nnnn and some are entered as nnn-nnn-nnnn. Highlighting the column and clicking Format, Special, Phone number doesn't do anything. How can I easily reformat the column to the one format of (nnn) nnn-nnnn?

    Find and replace hyphens with nothing.

    Select the column, do Ctrl+H (for find and replace), enter a hyphen in the Find box, nothing in the replace box, press Replace All.
