    Formula help needed for available manpower and working hour calculation.

    Hi,

    I trying to set few functions that will help me to calculate following things.

    Excel.jpg

    From column G, only Morning, Overnight and Evening Shift will be counted. All calculation needed on day basis. So, would you please help me to fix that.

    Try the following in G20 and copy down as needed:

    =SUM(COUNTIFS($A$2:$A$18,A20,$G$2:$G$18,{"Morning","Overnight","Evening"}))

    Does that give you what you're after?

    You can use SUMIFS instead of COUNTIFS for a total of your work hours.
