When I apply a filter to a sheet, and get the values I need, how do I add a column where I can quickly add 1,2,3 to this new list? I can't do ctrl+lower corner drag, because of hidden rows.

OK, so you have the filtered list - lets say it is in columns A abd B and now in column C you want to write 1 at first visible row, 2 in second visible etc.
select your CX:CY range, where X is first visible row and Y is last visible row
press Ctrl+G->Special->Visible only
in formula bar write
Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
(so if your first visible row is 4 then
Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
and commit it with Ctrl+Enter
now you can unfilter and will see only these rows which were visible hold the formula
of course you can copy column C and paste it special as values

Kaper
Many thanks.
