Three If(or) statements

Hello All,

Using excel 2010.

I am trying to write an if(or( statement that has 3 criteria.

What I am looking for is if a cell contains the following:
If cell A1 is equal to 0 to return 0.001
if cell A1 is greater than 0 to return the value in A1
if cell A1 is blank to return a blank.

I wrote this formula but receive the error "too many arguments"

Like =iIF(a1="","",If(a1=0,0.001,a1)) ? can A1 be <0 ? If so, what happens?

May be:
=IF(A1="","",IF(A1=0,.001,IF(A1>0,A1," A1<0?")))
