I have two columns with non-zero and variable numeric contents. I am getting a #DIV/0 error trying to CORREL, even if I just use the following 10 rows:

Given the little green triangels in column B, I'd guess that htese are values that look like numbers, but which are actually text. Click on the symbol (an exclamation mark in a diamond shape) that appears to the side of these cells when you select them. If it gives the option to convert to a number - take it. The triangles will disappear and it will work.

Thanks Glenn, exactly right. It's been so long since I used Excel that I've forgotten most of what I knew.
I know what you mean. If I'm away for a holiday - even after a shortish period, I always become a bit of a numptie again....
