    What results are you expecting? Whether taxable or exempt? And are there more than 2 entries per project?

    Re: Multiple Vlookup Normal Formula (not array formula) or VBA Function Required

    I have two inputs 1. Project name 2.Date of billing;

    If I enter project name is "Project A" & date is 01/10/2012 the result should be "Exempted" (Mentioned in master data Project A is Exempted from 01/07/2012 to 31/03/2015)

    and in case I enter date from 01/04/2015 to 17/11/2015 the results should be "Taxable" (Mentioned in master data Project A is Taxable from 01/04/2015 to 17/11/2015)

    i4=INDEX($E$4:$E$7,MATCH(1,INDEX(($B$4:$B$7=$G4)*($C$4:$C$7<=$H4)*($D$4:$D$7>=$H4),0),0))
