Thank you in advance for taking the time to give this a look.
i have attached a test file and what im trying to to do, as the Title states to look thru specific fields and count how many times a specific name appears then show that as a number.

Thank you Dosydos, I tried "COUNTIF($A$4:$A$7,P4)+($C$4:$C$7,P4)+ . . . . . . " Figures it be something as simple as adding in the "COUNTIF" again.
