Complex If Statement without using goal seek or solver

HI,

I am trying to create a dynamic spreadsheet, where you change your inputs in cell b5/b6. I am pretty close to my goal, but I am having an issue with my If statement beginning in cell L11. I have highlighted cell L54 where the real issue lies. I want to be able to say that If G54 is negative, then i want to bring it back to zero. So instead of buying shares in L54, I want to sell shares that would bring G54 to zero. To figure out the dollars to take it to zero, it would be the price in Y54 times x amount of shares would equal the number in G54.

To clarify, what value do you want to return in L54 if everything is working correctly? Is it 7,501 (G54/Y54)? Should it appear as a positive or negative value?

yes, that would be correct. It should appear as a positive. Not sure what the workaround would be, but i think if you add just (g54/y54) to the if statement you will receive a circular reference warning?
