Question Inheriting formatting with @if functuon

Hi .. I'm using an @IF statement with 3 @IF's therein ... each separate @IF refers to a field formatted as a currency .. how do I inherit the field currency format via the @IF statement .. for example, if the @If statement is in A1 and the possible answers are in B1, B2 or B3 .. where B1 is formatted GBP, B2 is USD and B is EUR .. how do I make A1 inherit the correct currency format ?

    You can't.

The built-in functions don't really have the capability to see the formatting "on top" of the cell, they pretty much only handle the values "inside" the cell.

    My advice:
Split the currency symbol into an adjacent cell that serves as the "unit", and then pull the "unit" with a formula just like the "value".
