OK, So here is my problem I was wondering if anyone could help. I have hit a dead end while calculating double over time in my time sheet.
I need the regular hours to be no greater than 8, I need the overtime hours to be no greater than 4 and the double time hours to be anything over 12. I think the problem lies with the way the overtime is calculated in my sheet to begin with. When someone works 8 hours everything displays fine using the =MIN function. When someone works more than 8 hours the remainder is automatically thrown into the overtime cell, using the =Max function. I need this cell to can at 4.
For example.....if someone worked 14 hours with a lunch I can't figure out the formula to get the overtime cell to display four hours and the double overtime to display 2 (8 regular, 4 overtime, 2 double overtime = 14) If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
