Hello April,

For Time Limit - Status, you can use the following formula
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Simply paste it into E6 and it should work just fine, afterward just drag it down and do some conditional formatting.

For Time Limit - Deadline Days Outstanding, can you clarify on how you calculate it? In the sample file it says "=16May2016 - Deadline" - is that "16May2016" refering to the day you are viewing the file?
(copy pasta from Ford)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Regards,
Lem

Hii... Lemice...
Thanks a lott.... my problem for Status (time limit) now is solved........... ^__^
DEADLINE DAYS OUTSTANDING - describes the running time before the deadline.
actually " deadline days outstanding" is as a reminder .
( In D6 ) if today is the 15th of May and Evidences received on 15 May , the "deadline days outstanding" indicates that there is no more time is calculated again.
( At D8 ) if today is the 17th of may , but Evidences have not been received , then the "deadline days outstanding" is 4 days.
( At D7 ) for example, today the 12th of may and Evidences received on 12 may , while the deadline date of May 10, it will show that the "deadline days outstanding" more than 2 days (+2day) ( of the deadline )

" Nah , if Evidences already received cell "D" / status is already "COMPLETED" the cell "D" will not continue to count.
but if it is NOT COMPLETED, excess time of the deadline will continue to count

I hope that helps. Thanks for any help you can givesss.

Best Regards,

April

Try this formula in D6 then
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Truth be told, I still don't really understand what it's doing from your instructions, so I put together one that I think is closest to what you want.

Remember that in the sample, on row 8, today is the 20 so it will say "0 Day(s)" on D8. If you change the date on C8 to May 24, it should show "4 Day(s)" instead.

Let me know if I misunderstood you in anyway, and I'll fix the formula accordingly.

Would you mind uploading a small sample file, having as many unique dummy cases as possible with your desired results?

Edit: Well, I was bored so I added the data you provided in the same column in a blank worksheet.

Put this following formula in AC5:
