How to concatenate date and time in one cell?

    Hi all

I have done some search on google and here in the forum but with no luck.

After the data from our data base was sent to Excel, the start date in A2 is in date format and the start time in B2 is in text format. What formula could I use to concatenate both date and time in one cell with a space in between

    In cell A2, I have 7/06/2016.
    In cell B2, I have 09:06:00

    Would like C2 to become 7/06/2016 9:06

I also have the finish date in cell E2 and finish time in cell F2 in the data Excel file sent from our database and I want to see the difference in how long the person took to finish off the job.

Hope I have made it clear

    Thanks guys

This is actually rather simple. =A2+B2 then format as Custom, m/d/yyyy h:mm

Thanks for replying AlKey but why this spreadsheet (attached) that I received from database is not working?

I've put in a callout in the spreadsheet for a better understanding.

    Thank you

This is because the cells in Col S formatted as TEXT. Format cells as suggested in my first post.
    Please see attached file.
