Is there an easy way to have conditional formatting across multiple sheets?
For example, if I enter "blue car" in cell A1 on sheet1 and "blue car" again in cell A3 on sheet 3 it'll be noted as a duplicate value.
Thank you for your help!!

yes there is
Well, that answers that question....
May I please expand what I was trying to ask?
How would I format this?
Thank you.
use a sumproduct
=SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(INDIRECT("'"&$I$1:$I$3&"'!$A$2:$A$10"),A2))>2
this will highlight sheet 1
I1:I3 are the sheet names
so
sheet1
sheet2
sheet3
and you can then add that conditional formatting to each sheet and use the same reference for the sheets
3d does not work for countif or countifs
