Dropdown based on another dropdown value

    Good afternoon,

I want to use dropdown boxes based on a other dropdown box. I found the =INDIRECT function on the internet, but I can't get it workable.

As you can see in the picture we have 2 levels. On level 1 we have 300 different choices, based on that choice you should see the Level2 opportunities. In this case when I select the Value "Acids & Salts" in E2, we should only see the 5 different options from column B in cell F2.

What is the best way of setting this up without creating seperate tables for every Level.

Have a look at the attached for one way of accomplishing this.

There is a dynamic named range (Press Ctrl+F3 to see the formula for it) that defines the start and end of the range based on the content of the green cell.
The drop down in the yellow cell will show the corresponding values only.

I also would like to implement this method, my question is how do I get the list to appear larger in my worksheet?
