Easy VLOOKUP for you, hard for me please help

    Hi,

    I've attached my spreadsheet.

I simply want to know which items in 'Sheet 1' are also in 'Master' using VLOOKUP in the J column of 'Master'. Can someone help me please? I'm struggling.

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, your description is vague...

Taking a guess, you want to test if the value in Master Column D exists in Sheet1 Column C

Try this in Master J2 and filled down.
    =ISNUMBER(MATCH(D2,Sheet1!C:C,0))

    Try

    =IFERROR(IF(MATCH(Master!D2,Sheet1!$C$2:$C$250,0),"Yes",""),"")

will return YES if match found
