    IF Formulas based on two seperate dates

    I need one formula for the following scenario:


    If the date in Column B (2/5/16) is before the date in Column G (3/7/16), then Column C needs to reflect a date which is one year from the date in Column G

    OR

    If the date in Column B is after the date in Column G, then Column C needs to reflect a date which is one year from Column B.


    I've tried and tried but cannot wrap my head around this one.

    HELP! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!

    Or try this ...

    =EDATE(MAX(B2,G2),12)
