    Question Formula to pull current owner

    Please see the attached workbook. I cannot figure out how to pull the most recent owner of the bond into Col B on Sheet 2. I want BondIDNo #1 to pull "0" as the customer number since that customer has the most recent issue date.

    If you custom sort Sheet1 by BondIDNo and then IssueDate (Newest to Oldest), you can then use in Sheet2 B2 copied down...

    =IFERROR(INDEX(Sheet1!C:C,MATCH(A2,Sheet1!B:B,0)),"")

    You can try this array formula on B2 and copy down :

    Or use VLOOKUP
    Enter formula on Sheet2 in cell B2 and copy down
