Return 1st occurrence of IP address and Location

Hi,

Would like to find the first occurrences of Upstream IP address and location. Results shown is highlighted in Green.

Can you actually explain your request?

Your file does not explain how you arrive at your results.

e.g. .....Upstream IP address and location ... what are these?

From the file

The raw data has 3 column each, IP address, Leg and Location. Each row consist of US, DS, Mgmt, Bck legs and the correspond Location

I found out that there are 2 sets of US of IP address, I just need the 1st occurrences only.

In the green column (1st 2 columns) are the expected results to retrieve the first occurrence of US and location.
In red are the data need to be identified.

Why is the "raw data" not in a single set of columns D:F: having the data organised as you have makes things much more difficult

These are the data pull out from tools servers and all the IP addresses are combined into 1 cell for each hostname (there are 3000 hostnames). These IP address did not identify which leg. So I used text columns to break into difference columns to be intact with the hostname. So, I have managed to identify the respective legs using the network segments. The attached is sample file which I have identify the legs.

If i set single set of columns, then the hostname will get repeated.

I think this will require VBA and the output will be a single list of the required IP addresses (not formatted as your results).
