Using Conditional Formatting to Highlight a COLUMN Instead of a Row

    Hi All,
I'm looking to highlight columns using a checkbox. The premise is this, employees will use this tool to click a checkbox when they are completed with all of the days tasks listed in that column of the table. I already have another table which has individual rows being highlighted when each checkbox is clicked, but I need to make columns highlighted as well. I've looked around online but can't seem to find anything other than row highlighting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I need this project done ASAP!

    Thanks in advance,

Right click on check box, choose properties then adjust cell reference

I don't see any option for that. Ideally this would be done by tomorrow morning. I looked at your sample, and tried to copy it, and I can get the column to highlight, but the word true or false shows up above the check box. What do I do to get rid of that?
