Specifically I'm trying to calculate division won/loss records for a fantasy baseball league. Generally speaking, I want Excel to count certain information so long as it corresponds to other certain data and return a "1" or a "0".

Let's use Mr. G the Musical as an example. I've figured out how to calculate won/loss, but I want to calculate W/L based on games versus other teams in his division (games versus Face on Balls, Crispy Tube Socks, Joe Buck Yourself and Bringer of Rain). Inter-division games are also indicated with an "*" in Column R.
I'm a novice, but I'm assuming its a variation on the won/loss formula* I'm already using. I just have to specify that I only want those games against particular opponents to be factored into the equation. I don't know how to do that.
I appreciate the help.
Matt
*I'm using: =SUMPRODUCT(--($O$2:$O$41="-"),--($M$2:$M$41="Mr. G the Musical"),--($N$2:$N$41>$P$2:$P$41))+SUMPRODUCT(--($O$2:$O$41="-"),--($Q$2:$Q$41="Mr. G the Musical"),--($P$2:$P$41>$N$2:$N$41)) to calculate Mr. G overall wins.
